“Azerbaijan – cultural flagman of the East”
On the eve of the 28 May Republic day of Azerbaijan the article “Azerbaijan – cultural flagman of the East” of Ms.Zarifa Alizade, director of the Azerbaijani Cultural Centre in Belgrade and professor of the Novi Sad Academy of Arts was published in popular and daily “Danas” newspaper of Serbia. The article gives interesting information about literature, music and architecture of Azerbaijan that will soon celebrate its national day, as well as informs the readers about many cultural developments that happened first in the East merely in Azerbaijan.
