Visit of Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY to Serbia
Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY visited Belgrade on August 1-2, 2017 in the framework of their Balkans tour. The orchestra includes 25 young and talented musicians from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tatarstan (RF) and Bashkiria (RF). The orchestra chefs are Anvar Akperov (Kazakhstan) and Mustafa Mehmandarov (Azerbaijan).
On August 2, TURKSOY Secretary-General and Youth Chamber Orchestra visited national leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument in Tasmaydan Park in Belgrade.
The concert which was organized with the support of the Embassies of Azerbaijan and Turkey in Serbia in Madlenianum Opera and Theatre of Belgrade was attended by the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of Serbia Mr.Zoran Dordevic, Serbian parliamentarians, members of diplomatic corps and Serbian society.
Professional performance of young musicians who presented to the spectators the works of prominent European and Turkic composers, as well as marvelous conducting of orchestra chef Mustafa Mehmandarov raised great interest of the Belgrade audience.
