The 13th anniversary of the decease of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev commemorated in Serbia
On December 12, 2016 a commemorative event was held in Belgrade, Serbia, in connection with the 13th anniversary of the decease of the National leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
The representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Serbia, Azerbaijan Culture Centre in Belgrade, Serbia-Azerbaijan Trade Chamber, Serbia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, “Azvirt” Azerbaijani company, Serbian İslamic Society and Azerbaijani community in Serbia attended the event.
The participants of the event came to Tashmaydan park in Belgrade, laid flowers at the monument of the renowned statesman Heydar Aliyev and honored the memory of the National Leader with observing a minute of silence.
Mr.Javanshir Majidov, the counsellor of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Serbia, spoke at the event about the life and activity of the national leader, prominent politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev, his merits in strengthening the independence of Azerbaijan and ensuring the stability in the country. He thanked the quests for their respect to the memory of the National Leader of Azerbaijan.
