“Arshin mal alan” was screened in Belgrade

On September 18, 2017 “Arshin mal alan” film (1945) restored and colored by the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation was screened in the cinema hall of the Ethnografic Museum in Belgrade, in connection with the birth anniversary of  the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli.  The screening was organized by the initiative and support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Serbia and Azerbaijani Cultural Center.

The event was opened by the director of Azerbaijani Cultural Center prof.Zarifa Alizade who informed the participants about the works of U.Hajibeyli - the author of the first opera in muslim word and the national anthem of Azerbaijan. She noted that his birthday is celebrated as a national music day in Azerbaijan.

The film was met with interest of the representatives of the diplomatic crops in Belgrade and Serbian public.
