Azerbaijani brand “ASAN service” was presented in Serbia

On May 21-22 2015 the representatives of State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as deputy of the Parliament (Milli Majlis) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr.Ali Huseynli participated in the international conference held in Serbian National Assembly in Belgrade and organized by the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNPD). During the conference the presentation on Azerbaijani brand “ASAN service” was held. The specific role of “ASAN service” in delivering state services in transparent and effective way, its role in fight against corruption, as well as enhancing e-government were particularly mentioned. It was stated that establishment of “ASAN service” caused serious achievements in effective state management from the point of view of increasing of transparency and usage of modern innovations,

The presentation was met with great interest from participants. Further cooperation with “ASAN service” and GOPAC, as well as the learning of ASAN’s experience was also discussed during the event.

The participants of the conference underlined the importance of usage of ASAN’s conception of state services as a sample and applying this experience in other countries. Parliamentarians congratulated “ASAN service” with being awarded with the influential UN “Public Services Award”
