Holders of diplomatic, service and official Serbian passports do not need visa for Azerbaijan for a stay up to 90 days.List ofcountries applying viza-free regime

To travel to Azerbaijan a visa must be obtained from the Consular Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Serbia, Belgrade, 25 Pere Velimirovica Str.).

Office hours of the Consular Section:

Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. 

All the necessary documents for visa should be presented personally by the applicant. An applicant who is unable to present the documents due to several reasons may authorize any person to do so on his/her behalf through a Letter of Attorney. Visa is issued in 5-10 working days from the date of the submission of relevant documents.

Note: Visa fee submitted to the Bank Account of the Consular Section of the Embassy (Branch of Reiffeisen Bank in Vojvode Stepe 199, Belgrade, Serbia) for processing of the documents is not refundable.

To obtain a visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular section of the Embassy:

For business, employment, cultural, sports, education and humanitarian visit visas:

• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form;(Application Form);
• An application filled-in by inviting party 
• Document  (signed and stamped letter of inviting party ) proving the reason for invitation;
• Copy of state registration certificate (for non-governmental organizations);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;

For official visit visa:

• Note Verbal from the of Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Embassy of Serbia or an international organization indicating official purposes of the visit;
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form (download the form);
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);

For personal visit visa:

• A notarized letter of invitation indicating the responsibility to pay for all expenses of travelling person during his stay in Azerbaijan from a citizen of Azerbaijan or a foreigner residing on permanent basis in Azerbaijan or a labor migrant with temporary resident status in Azerbaijan (only for family members of migrant worker);
• A copy of the ID card (a copy of residence card of foreigners) of inviting person; 
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form (download the form); ;
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;

For tourist visa:

• Tourist voucher from receiving travel agency in Azerbaijan or a document, confirming the reservation at a hotel, camping sites, tourist bases, etc (stamped and signed letter from a hotel indicating dates of reservation) and travel ticket;
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form (download the form); ;
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period;
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;
