1977-1992-                            Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, inspector, chief inspector, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of Baku, Head of Police Department of Ganja city;

 

1992-1993-                            Head of National Bureau of INTERPOL in the Republic of Azerbaijan;

 

1993-                                      First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

 

1993-1995-                            First Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

 

1995-2000-                           Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

Author of 25 books, textbooks, teaching aids and more than 170 scientific publications in the field of organized crime, particularly terrorism and illegal drug trafficking;
